This week, we will continue reading and finish up the play Death of a Salesman. We will read a little each day, write, and take the unit test on Friday. We are almost done with this semester. If you have not turned in your research paper, it is far beyond due at this point. If you have yet to turn in your poetry project, please do so as soon as possible. All grades have been entered.

Monday: Vocabulary review, continue reading DOAS, and begin character maps. Objectives: Today students will focus on continuing to read their plays, as well as take an in-depth look at each character. Outcomes: By the end of the day, all students should have a completed in-depth analysis created for each character in the play. Homework: Finish character maps.
Tuesday: Reading quiz, discuss character maps and motives, continue vocabulary review and root word review, and continue reading DOAS. Objectives:Today students will continue to increase their understanding of vocabulary and root words. In addition, they will also continue reading their plays. Outcomes: By the end of class, all students should have begun reading ACT II of the play DOAS. Homework: None.
Wednesday: Reading quiz, continue reading DOAS and review key passages. Objectives: Today, students will read for an extended period, as well as discuss key passages in the play. Outcomes:By the end of class, all students should be almost complete with reading DOAS. Homework: None.
Thursday: Vocabulary and root words quizzes, finish reading the play DOAS, and begin a review for unit test tomorrow. Objectives: Today students will be assessed on their understanding of diction and root words. They will also finish reading the play and begin studying for their unit test. Homework: Study for your unit test tomorrow.
Friday: Death of a Salesman unit test. Objectives: Today, students will be assessed on their understanding of the play Death of a Salesman. Outcomes: By the end of class, students will have demonstrated their understanding of the play Death of a Salesman. Homework:None.
